Karen y Los Remedios unveil “Creación del Universo”. Following a brief “Silencio” —the title of their latest album— and a period marked by collaborations with artists from across the globe, Karen y Los Remedios unveil “Creación del Universo,” a new single that transforms contemplation into movement and pushes their sound toward a brighter, more electronic and dance-driven dimension.
What first appears to be a love song soon reveals a deeper layer: “Creación del Universo” draws inspiration from ancient creation myths and scientific theories imagining a time before time itself. Through poetic imagery, expansive synths and a hypnotic pulse, the song presents love as a creative force capable of bringing everything into existence.
Musically, the track flows naturally between dream-pop, electronic music and Latin house. It begins suspended in an ethereal atmosphere built from floating vocals and enveloping synthesizers before bursting into a magnetic groove driven by shimmering percussion, constantly shifting synth sequences and an elastic bassline that propels the song forward.
Melodic guitars and layered vocal treatments amplify that sense of expansion, creating a modern, sensual and luminous sound that highlights the band’s ability to move between introspection and the dancefloor without losing its identity.
With this release, Karen, Jiony and Zampa continue expanding the boundaries of their sonic universe, exploring new textures while reaffirming a project in constant evolution.
The visual accompanying the single was created by Hong Kong-based Ukrainian photographer Roman Olinchuk. Inspired by feminine creative energy as the origin of the universe, the video builds a symbolic narrative through the elements of earth, air, fire, water and ether, exploring the connection between nature, the body and spirituality.
